Reference Placemats

I think for about 15 years now (depending on the grade I'm teaching) I've used personal placemats for each student to have on their table as a reference  (mainly for the alphabet, spelling and maths)  I used to make them by cutting and pasting bits and pieces but now I try to set them all out in Word.  We make them A3 size and laminate them (of course!!)  Here are a couple of samples.

These are the old placemats we used to do for Prep - sorry I haven't got a closer look.  My favourite part of these ones was the hand outlines that showed left and right.  The cards in the corners were their first day name tags.
