Setting up a Reading Environment

Our class library
I can't tell you how much importance I place on a love of literacy. To this end, I put a lot into setting up a classroom library that will draw kids in. Novels, non-ficition, picture books, magazines, Mp3 stories, dictionaries, phone books, newspapers, altases, kids' writing, puzzle books ... and poetry ... lots of poetry. Add colour, soft toys, soft furniture, easy to manage labelled storage and some library monitors to keep it all together.
